This was our first time coming to this restaurant and will not be our last. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Rigatoni Della Casa and the Gnocchi Toscano. Both meals were so flavorful. I would highly recommend both of them! Lindsey was so friendly and informative about the menu. For dessert we had the chocolate soufflé and the cannoli. They were so delicious! I don’t even usually like cannoli but the filling has a slight citrus note that was surprising but so good! Perfect date night. ❤️

Fantastic, from start to finish! The ambience and vibe created only made the food taste better. This was our first time, but definitely not our last. Highly recommend.

Was looking forward to dinner based on other reviews but unfortunately our expectations fell short.

We arrived early for our reservation and were sat immediately. There were only 2 other parties in the whole restaurant. We were sat directly next to one of them and the table location made it so my butt was split between 2 cushions along the front window.

Waitress took our drink order, we also ordered the fish bites and she offered bread. The bread and dipping oil was delicious. My wife enjoyed her sangria and I had a beer. The blackened fish bites were ok. The meat was tender but the flavor was very fishy. The dipping aioli was just ok.

We placed our order for the mains and I had ordered the lasagna while my wife ordered the rigatoni eggplant dish. When they finally came out I was a bit disappointed with the lasagna dish. Although the pasta was noticeably fresh and tasted great, the layers were mostly pasta with a soup of sauce, meat and cheese on the side. The portion was also underwhelming for the price. The portion was about a 4x4x4 square. See photo. My wife’s dish was filled a bit more but was very acidic and her pasta was doughy and mushy, felt overcooked.

At this point there were maybe 5 groups in the entire restaurant and I still had to ask our waitress for a water refill. She was not very attentive.

When my wife finished about half her dish she noticed that there was a short black hair under one of her noodles (see photo) We stopped and brought it to our waitress attention. She took it back to the kitchen and we asked for the check at that point.

Overall I was not impressed and I would not return in the future. It was a nice location and had potential, but has a lot of work to do on quality and flavor before I would recommend.

food 4/5: I ordered the pizza with the sausage and the bell peppers and onions. The pizza sauce is so good! Very well seasoned have the right amount of sour and sweet flavors. The dough itself was pretty good. It didn’t have as much of a shoe as I would like for a Napoleon style pizza. the mozzarella cheese was a little tough and not as soft as I like it. Otherwise flavored very well.

service 5/5: surface was quick and efficient

ambiance 5/5: Rustic restaurant with a nice bar.

Very good experience the second we walked into this restaurant! We found it from the offline app, a local Tampa bay app that offers coupons to local restaurants. The owner of the restaurant, Joel was serving us, and he made the experience 100x better, it was a joy having him serve us!

The starter bread was fantastic and the dipping oil was heavy with raw garlic and herbs, which is right up my alley. You could tell everything was fresh with great ingredients! We also got margherita pizza, the formaggio pizza and carbonara pasta. All very delicious!! Will definitely be recommending to everyone! ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here at The Brother Trattoria. The staff was so kind, I was greeted with smiles & the food/drinks did not disappoint. The drinks I tried were The Grinch & Mistletoe Manhattan… delicious. I tried the blackened grouper bites and OMG seasoned very well, crispy and flaky. I will definitely come back.

Update: 2/9/25

It was nice to come back to try something different. The Spaghetti Vongole was very flavorful and had the right amount of kick to it. I tried the delicious grouper bites my first time here but it may have been a seasonal thing because I didn’t see it on the menu this time around. Overall, nice intimate spot to go with friends or significant other.

What a great experience. It’s a relatively big place. I sat at the bar and got there just in time for happy hour. They have great specials for cocktails, apps, and pizza. I went with the lavender lemonade, I forget the name but the rolled up eggplant was divivine, and the Burrata pizza. All 10s across the board. The pizza dough was thin but fluffy at the same time. Great flavor. The prosciutto is such a nice touch with the arugula and tomato. I definitely plan on coming back for some of their fresh pasta.
