We stayed here in August 2014, casa di Antonio is a beautiful converted farmhouse in the middle of nowhere, that is actually in the middle of everywhere!||The place is immaculately clean throughout, Karen and Tony are the perfect hosts, and obviously enjoy what they do and are very good at it too. We went everywhere on this trip, I must have driven over a 1000 miles in our 10 days here.||Karens breakfasts were very pleasant, and Tonys knowledge of the towns we visited was absolutely first class, right down to car parks ! The area itself reminds me of the fens in East England, fields and endless fields of produce, but extremely pretty.||We spent a good few evenings out in the balmy August heat drinking under the barn, and one evening laid back and watched meteors flying across the clear Italian night sky, wonderful memories.

Tony and Karen greeted us on arrival and showed us around their beautiful property.||As hosts they could not have been more helpful with Tony offering advice on plces to visit while serving breakfast. His directions are spot on, ignore the sat nav, these directions are so user freindly anyone can follow them. ||Whilst having breakfast Karen had cleaned our room, amazing.||We had great days out in the mountains, Ferrara (thanks for the boutique advice, it cost me another wedding outfit for Gill :-)), also on the beach which is a easy short drive away.||We had some lovely local meals out with Tony taxi providing transport. On return we sat under the barn drinking lovely local wine. Wine is providied on a trust, sign for basis and is great value.||Sorry i have taken so long to get this review done Karen, i have been very busy since returning , i think you will be seeing us again before too long.||If you want to see some real Italy and chill out this is a must place to stay.||Thanks again Karen and Tony you really are the very best of hosts.||Simon & Gill

Not quite sure what to write other than to echo everybody else’s positive comments. We had always wanted to visit Italy so a timely email via my school account led to an ideal way to dip our toes. Fortuitously it also coincided with our silver wedding anniversary and what a grand time we had. It is not often that we have both did not want to come home but this was definitely one of those rare occasions. Many thanks to Karen and Tony, who certainly played a big part in making our stay memorable in so many ways- we will be looking to go back for a repeat dose of an Italian pick-me-up, sooner rather than later. The comment made was that ‘it is in the middle of everywhere’ and this is so true, as there are so many places to visit within a reasonable travelling distance. A great testament to Karen and Tony is that we felt as though we had known them for a lot longer than 5 days and rather than B&B owners they were our friends. Superb hosts, fantastic food, great rooms and a brilliant location.

We stayed at the end of August for a week. Tastefully renovated accommodation but in a very flat remote area. If your idea of Italy is rolling Tuscan hills then this is not for you. As far as the eye can see flat agricultural landscape. An hour and a half from Venice, conveniently situated. Unfortunately it is also at least 20 minutes from any restaurants as the nearer ones have closed down.||Tony managed the house by himself for the week we stayed as Karen was 'away' on the Isle of Wight. Have noticed the website is since unavailable, perhaps karen has sensibly decided to remain on the IOW! Or has Tony buried her somewhere.....he did seem to be busy in the garden at night!

Ahh...what can we say that hasn't already been said in previous reviews. Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. We spent 11 days with Tony and Karen and felt that wasn't enough. We usually get a bit homesick towards the end of a holiday, but not this time! Determined to fit in as much as we could we visited Venice, Verona, Lake Garda, Florence, Pisa, Ferrara, Bologne, Commachio and San Marino. And still managed to fit in a day at the beach, bike ride and had a look around the beautiful small villages in the hills. We met some lovely guests and had a good laugh in the evenings. We would like to thank Karen and Tony for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home and educating us in the ways of the Italian people. To be honest, five stars isn't enough! We will be back...Keith has been at the map again Tony!! (I've bought a bike Karen...Woohoo!!)
