The food at PoPo Family Restaurant is exceptionally good. It’s traditional Texas comfort food with an amazing variety of alcoholic beverages.

The staff is very courteous and friendly. The bartender (Ms. Christina) was super friendly and made great recommendations for both dinner and drinks to go with the meal.

Although we arrived late they provided exceptional customer service with a smile!

I strongly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the local area, it would be easier to find if they had more signage, but Google will easily lead you to this great establishment.

This is some of the best fried chicken in the state of Texas, delicious. Very friendly staff with several good home style menu items. Worth the drive

After many years, I decided to give PoPo's in Boerne, TX another try. The restaurant offers comfort food-style dishes. I ordered both the meatloaf and the bacon-wrapped chop. I must say, both items were very tasty and satisfying, cooked to perfection! The sides were also delicious, which was definitely a bonus. Although I found the prices to be a bit steep, I understand that PoPo's uses Akaushi beef, which justifies the cost.

They sure got a lot of plates inside the restaurant other than that the chicken sandwich is pretty good, their french fries are also pretty good, the white fried chicken was excellent. Overall would highly recommend.

Didn't think anything near by would be open on Thanksgiving Day. Glad we stopped by! Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back whenever I'm visiting here again.

This is such a fun stop while on the road. All the walls are covered in plates and there are so many interesting ones. We had breakfast. The service was good and fast. The food was stellar. We tried the chicken fried steak combo and malted waffle combo. Both dishes we’d have again. The waffle was crisp and the malted flavor added dimension. The chicken fried steak was tender and came with a tasty sausage gravy. Definitely a must try!

I went there to eat with my family and I loved it, the food was good service was great! Overall great experience. My kids ordered some chicken strips and popcorn shrimp, they loved it. My wife and I ordered a ribeye and I've never had a better piece of meat In my life ?

Truly legit. I travel often for work, and PoPo has some of the best food around. I happily award them my coveted "Certified Mad Good" rating as their chicken is succulent and delicious with biscuits to boot. Dessert options are also on point.
