I can’t remember the last time I had such an amazing meal. The gnocchi was so delicious and the chocolate desert tasted like heaven. And our waitress was so friendly and nice. My husband had some drops of sauce in his shirt and she was quick to offer him help to clean it.

Drink and a meal is going to be $50 a person but this place has quality written all over. Espresso martinis with shots that were pulled fresh and you could tell. Bronte pinsa (pictured) was an excellent flatbread. Also shared some gnocchi that was good. Highly recommend bonu. Atmosphere was superb inside for a Friday night

First time eating here NYE 2024 and we couldn’t have had a better experience/ NYE! Mia and Erica, two charismatic hosts, greeted us warmly and gave the impression of knowing everyone . Bartender solid cocktails and great service. One of the owners was DJing a fantastic set. I asked him if he could play some Armin van Buuren and, he did! Fettuccine mushroom truffle pasta was ridiculously great! Cesar salad perfect! Food runner was fun and energetic! We had so much fun and the food was so great, we returned again New Year’s Day and had the same fantastic experience! Best meal of our entire trip!! Thk you!!!

Bonu' Taverna Italiana is for all who enjoy authentic Italian ciusine.
Right at the entrance, we were welcomed with a warm smile by a new hostess Alexis. Our table was ready in few minutes. Our server Tayler was a blast. Very professional. Because of his recommendations, I tried the seabass special of the day. Love every part of it. You also MUST try the squash soup. One of the best soups I ever had....Mushroom fettuccine was the winner for me...Kayla, the restaurant manager came to our table and made sure we all were taking cared of... We also had a chance to meet one of the true Italian owners...Luca...Bonu so far is my favorite Italian authentic restaurant downtown St. Pete. We will definitely stop by next time either for lunch or for a dinner.

Fun lively Italian restaurant. The setting is clean and up to date. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was good and the drinks were great. The presentation on everything and the colorful plates were excellent. Great spot for a drink with friends or a family meal.

Besides the price, I love this restaurant! The service was wonderful, our server was hysterical and matched our vibes, he also made some incredible recommendations. We loved the food and were so happy we tried this place! It’s so tasty and flavorful, and all of it was fresh.

Beautiful dining experience all the way through. Great cocktails, attentive service and absolutely gorgeous and delicious food. The octopus was so tender with pistachio pesto - just wow. Veal with a side of pasta- fork tender. Caesar salad with top shelf parmigiana and house made dressing and croutons- very memorable. Broccolini with OVOO and a little heat- tastes like it was cut fresh from the garden. Finished off with cappuccino and creamy tiramisu- just the right amount to complete a perfect meal. Can’t wait to return when the DJ is playing. Ask for Alphonso.
